Knowing everyone's name in a drama class is important because in a class like that, you in your entirety are put out in the open. Viewing everyone in the class as a friend makes it easier to open up while performing. You are often paired up with people you have never worked with before, so being their friend takes away the awkwardness. If you only associate with a few people in your class, classmates might think you're snobby.
Being able to let go of your insecurities is extremely important in drama because while you're up on stage, all eyes are on you and you become extremely vulnerable. All actions look deliberate, so it's important to be able to control nervous habits like fiddling with your hair or biting your nails. Control of your voice is also essential because rate of speech is a way of conveying emotion. Also, memorize your lines so well that it looks like you're making them up and they seem like they're your own thoughts. This also helps your facial expressions seem more genuine if you're not struggling to come up with your lines. :)

but if you really want to know and you think it's so important maybe because it's just not to feel left out and must know everything to stay on track in school
