Sick of "reality tv"?!

Probably not soon! Its like the TV version of the corporate music business that create stars just to make money. Its rife throughout life now from Music to TV to Football, Even with people like David Beckham becoming as big as a holywood film star.
Look at it from a TV company's veiw point, its cheap TV why would they waste money making high quality drama and comedy when they can please the brain dead masses with garbage like this.
We might have a WAGS channel yet even, producing programns like "how to be a gold digger" and "how to make it in the entertainment business with no talent by hanging onto the coat tails of your famous hubbies"
Like the guy said just turn over. The problem is when you turn it over there is more of this garbage on the other channels. Meanwhile you still have to pay for your TV License

Hi,I thought exactly the same thing.last night turned ITV on its all dancing with ice if not that then what you have mentioned.

I stopped watching reality TV about 3 years ago. I was a huge fan of "The Real World", "Survivor" and all of those competition games MTV had. But, I'm not sure what happened, I just lost interest in them. Now I only watch regular shows. And that sucks because of the strike, but I just use that time to introduce new shows to myself. I've found a few that I'll be happy to watch when the strike is over. I have to say though, the MTV reality shows have to be the ultimate worst. =)

I only watch one reality tv show. I watch Big Brother. I absolutely cannot stand American Idol. I never gave any of the others a chance. It seems like they are getting desperate for reality show ideas....uugghh...
i actually like amercian idol auditions. and then i watch the last 3 episodes of it, just to see who won.

I like reality shows with 20 fights in one episode even though they're fake.
I enjoy X Factor and American Idol but don't like any of the others you've listed.....I realize they are highly publicized but if you do not like them don't watch them.
I don't watch 'reality TV'. The TV companies produce this rubbish because it is cheap TV. The people on the production teams are generally very young and not very clever. If they weren't working in TV they'd be stacking shelves or working in a factory.
