Am I the only person who preferred Ashes to Ashes to Life on Mars?!

Question: I know where you're coming from as I grew up in the 80s too, and can relate a but more to the scenery and props (like TAB!!), but after just the one episode I'm not comparing yet.

All I can say is that I loved it and wasn't at all disappointed with it. How anyone could be disappointed with any show containing the God-like Gene Hunt is simply beyond me!

Well i only watched half of it, found it a bit boring, but will try to watch it again later.

I enjoyed it more than the first episode of Life on Mars.

Great chemistry between Gene and Alex. Looking forward to seeing it develop.

no

It was definitely different. I thought it was good, but the mystery of what happened had gone. With Sam, you didn't know if he was dead, in a coma, insane or whatever, but with Alex you know she's in a coma. The only thing left to find out is why she's in the same dream...

There has only been one episode of ashes to ashes so how can you judge fairly?

I preferred life on mars because I am a fan of John Simm,I think he is a brilliant actor and I also think Liz White was better then Keeley Hawkes is but as I said it's early days.

I agree with paws n claws there has only been one episode but hey! I don't care as long as the Gene Genie is still strutting his stuff.

yes
