Question: fantastic comedy in every episode but i allways remember the one where they meet the bloke from one foot in the grave -'i dont belieeeeeve it'. and of of course the mission through the ladies underwear department, that was classic. as well as the lent episode. so much to choose from. !!!!!

Excellent show, So many great moments, which to choose? The eurovision song contest perhaps.... My lovely horse..Fantastic..but kicking Bishop Len Up the jacksie has to be my fave..
Sorry to be funny but you will find that the Republic of Ireland is actually not part of great britain....so it is not a great british comedy but in fact a superb Irish comedy!
Oh boy that's a hard one! Sorry I really cannot decide between "The song for Europe" and the one when he offends the Chinese community (can't remember the title). But all episodes are brilliant!

I'd like to point out that its Irished based and with irish actors! in fact the best of Irish comedy! i love all the episodes especially the one with Eoin McLove, although my favourite ending is when dougal gets his head stuck in the couch, i just love that bit sooooo much!!
Father Ted is an excellent comedy and it is much too hard to ask for just one favourite episode. However the more important topic that needs to be addressed is the fact that it is an Irish comedy. Although an unfortunately large amount of people are still ignorant to the fact, the Republic of Ireland which includes 26 out of the 32 counties of Ireland, is not British.
