Is anyone else entering the HGTV 2008 Dream Home sweepstakes on television?!
Question: If you won, what would you do with it? I'd love to walk through and pick some fancy furniture pieces and other things. I know we couldn't afford the taxes on it, so we'd have to sell it. But . . . even in today's downward market it should fetch a pretty penny so we could build the nice (though not nearly as fancy) house we've always wanted. And have everything paid off so I could be a SAHM, or work part time somewhere fun.

I have.And I would keep some of the stuff in it..And then sell the house..It is a nice dream..But I know the ins/taxs alone in fl a lone so no way/no way could I afford...
Yes, I enter. If I won, I would definitely go and stay there as a vacation. Then I would allow family and friends to stay there for a vacation. After that it would go on the market. The taxes are just way too high! It's fun dreaming about it.
