Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites?!
Question: I just wanted to know how the show went about picking the favorites? Did they ask ppl to vote for who they wanted to come back on, or did the show just pick who they wanted?

My understanding is that they contacted quite a few of the previous contestants in part to keep the "favorites" in the dark as to who would actually be coming back. Tom, the winner of Palau was the only winner invited back. He wisely refused because he had already won and saw what had happened to previous winners on All Stars. Probst (and most fans of the show) didn't want Fairplay back (he hates him) but the producers did.
They probably put offers out to the producer's top picks and then they picked from those that agreed to come back.
Not sure but I like James, he's hot....

I have to imagine they put on who they could get. There are a lot better "favorites" out there. Plus I definately heard them say "all time favorites" and most of these guys were relatively recent.
LOL, actually I think Eliza is pretty cute myself.
