How many agree with me that Judge Judy can be very rude ?!
Question: I do not think it it right that Judge Judy is allowed to scream at people appearing in her court and occassionally call them liars, when really she does not really know that. People are as entitled to respect just as much as the judge herself. Sometimes she does not even allow them to answer for themself. That is not justice in my book. What do other think ?

There are times I do. It seems sometimes instead of actually listen to someone's answer they get out 2 words and then she talks on top of them and they don't get the chance to actually answer. She doesn't listen.
At others times though I can understand her impatience with people who are clearly idiots.
They know what they're getting into when they sign the contracts. I love Judge Judy..."Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining!" hahahaha
Yeah, she gets crazy often, it looks really unprofessional.
I would definitely lose my case if I had one in front of her, since I wouldn't put up with it. (In fact, I might have to have assault charges brought against me if she said some of the things to me that she says to others on her program.)
I think she is extremely rude... and if someone wants to be put on tv so people can be all in they business like that... dont deserve respect... they need help. holler.

I'm amazed that the show is still on. But I don't watch that show, or "Judge Joe Brown," "Divorce Court," "Judge Alex", "The People's Court, "Judge Maria Lopez" etc. I did like "Eye for an Eye," which was on at 12AM or 1AM. That had Judge Extreme Akim & his "bat of justice," Baliff Sugar Ray, & Kato Kaelin as the host (not kidding!)

Like most everything on tv, Judge Judy is a TELEVISION program and a PRODUCTION.
This means that it is "made for tv."
Yes the people are "real", but they sign contracts before the show (trial) where they receive all-expenses-paid roundtrip airfare tickets for 2 or more people, with hotel, restaurant, and limo transportation, etc etc etc.
They get hair, makeup, and wardrobe with a list of "do's and don'ts" which they must abide by.
Even the sound on nature shows is FAKE.
Anything you see on tv is a production (even news) with slick editing, graphics, and promotion. Most shows have experienced national-level public relations specialist and entertainment lawyers.
Obviously the Judge at your local courthouse wont be saying that to your face, even though they might be thinking it.
