I think that was freaking out a lot of people until we stopped to consider what the actual relationships were. It is very confusing when there are so many Brady's and Horton's.
Well not exactly you have to remember that Shawn is not really Shawn Sr.'s grandson Because his father Bo is Victor's son so they are not cousins. Ever notice how much chemistry there is between Kate and Roman?

I know that supposedly Victor is Bo's father, but I have read that whatever disease it is that Bo has, Shawn Sr. will have to die to save him. If that's the case, then wouldn't they be related?
The only way Grandpa Shawn and Bo are related is that Grandpa Shawn raised Bo as his own son. Bo's biological father is Victor Kiriakis and for years was the head baddie on the show...that is until Stefano DiMera showed up. UGH! So to answer your question, no, Shawn and Belle are not related except by marriage.
Victor K. is really Bo's dad not Shawn sr. but he was raised by Shawn so he looks at him like a father. Shawn and Belle are only related by marriage. As it turns out now Belle is the one who is really a Brady since Colleen is her grandmother and Shawn is her Uncle. Also inreference to the comment above (sorry this is a spoiler too) Shawn is going to save Bo but its has nothing to do w/ the medical problem Bo is having so they dont have to be related.)
