What T.V series showed the first on screen kiss between black and white actors?!
Question: Popular convention says its supposed to be US sci-fi series Star Trek in the late 1960s. William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura), though if I remember the episode properly (Platos Stepchildren) he was forced to kiss her by some alien with mental powers - neither was a willing participant.
British Television got there first in any case in 1964, in the series "Emergency Ward 10" between actors Joan Hooley and John White, two doctors involved in an inter-racial relationship.
