What episode of MASH did neither Wayne Rogers or Mike Farrell appear in?!

Question: Alan Alda is the only actor credited with appearing in all 250 episode's of MASH, but how is it that he had an episode without Rogers or Farrell, who together only add up to 249?

When you say "appeared" do you mean actually in the episode, or not listed in the credits?

If you mean not actually having a line or being in the ep, there was an episode where Hawkeye has a jeep accident and ends up with a Korean family. It's basically a monologue for Alan Alda. No other regular cast member is actually seen.

It was Season 4, Episode 90, entitled "Hawkeye". Has some classic moments, like Hawkeye (trying to keep awake, afraid he may have a concussion, so he keeps babbling on and on tho the Koreans cannot understand a word he says!) singing "Some Enchanted Evening" (never let her goooooooooooo"). One of my favorite eps, actually.

Maybe that's the episode that's the extra.

I've seen all the episodes of MASH completely through about 7 times. Right off hand, I can't think of one episode that took place like that. Why do you ask? What brought this on? The only thing I can think of is perhaps when Charles was one of the dominant characters and perhaps Hawkeye or BJ or Rogers was off in Tokyo or elsewhere. Interesting question.
