GH's Ric Lansing & Coffee Shop Girl?!
Question: Is it just me or does anyone else not like the new coffee shop girl (i can't remember her name). I really like the other girl better. Any opinions here??

I'm not sure what other girl you are refering to, but either way I think they both may spell trouble, Rick's be on the back burner for a while and I think something is about to change that! ecspecialy since Claudia is in town and he now owns Al kasar's share of the docks! It's about to get interesting?
I like the new girl better. She seems more underhanded and devious, which apparently is what she is, since she is working with Trevor to get the waterfront papers Skye left Ric.

i agree....the first actress looked better with Ric's character and appeared to be able to deliver her lines more smoothly. This new one doesn't seem comfortable with her role, or with Ric......I'm not enjoying her performance at all.
( it's not a "pretty" issue for me, it's the abililty to act well and convince the audience that your character is real.....especially when interacting w/the other actor and they just don't seem to "clicK" really)
Her name is Marianna, and I thought she looked different. I don't think she will be in the picture long anyway. It seems she is only after Ric's paperwork for the piers.
The new Marianna is horrible! She can't act, and is so hard to look at. It was hard watching her in bed with Rick yesterday. I had to fast forward their scenes! The other girl was pretty, and a better actress.
I'm not too worried though. Her character seems the type to end up dead in a few weeks anyway... just a device to keep the storyline going.
The other girl wasnt on long enough for me to decide either way on this character.
Although the first one was prettier than this new one.
It's not just you - I don't like her either. Totally different personality, not as cute, just kind of blah. Other actress was much better.
I don't like the new girl either. The first girl was way better actress and she looked alot better too, sort of the look that Ric Lansing could be attracted to. The current girl looks and acts like a insecure, paranoid refugee who is all tense, she doesn't have the look that Ric Lansing would find attractive so....they need to keep searching for the right actress for that character.

I don't think she is a good actress.The other one did a better job... But,no matter which one---I think Trevor is paying her good $$$ to do something to Ric....
i was thinking it was a different girl last wk, the other girl was thinner. i dont think she was there long enough to say she was better tho. i jus thought "man it took u no time to get her into bed ric." but then i realised she's working for some1. which is 1 of the things i thought last wk. she is either working for or is in a relationship and abused by trevor. or in a really bad relationship and ric is going to help her get out. now i think she is working for claudia. claudia knows alot more than she is letting on.
I am not crazy about her either. I liked the other actress better. I wonder who she is "working" for? It seemed like she was supposed to steal the property paperwork. Could she be one of Trevor's people?
I know! I am so glad someone else mentioned it. This new one seems older and not quite the right fit for Ric. I liked the older one better too. They dont give a new character a chance. I think she is working for Trevor though.
I like the first coffee shop girl too......... She had a more pleasant look & attitude where's though it looked natural on her . This new chick seems like she tries abit too hard to seem pleasant
Well, that explains something. I was watching a couple of days ago and kept thinking that something was different, but couldn't figure it out. I didn;t realize the actress had changed.
I don't like this one either. I wonder why they switched actresses. This girl has no chemistry with Ric at all.
Marianna I think her name is. I do not like he as well as the other girl she had a "lighter" feeling to her. I do not know what it is, I do not think this new girl fits well with Ric as the other one did.
It's always so hard to warm up to a new character. I'm still having a hard time with Trevor. I keep thinking his nose looks like it has cancer. It's so huge!
Apparently they recast the part when the decided to take the story in a different direction than they originally planned. Why they had to recast for that heaven knows. Just confirms my theory that with the stupid story lines lately they are making stuff up as they go along.

can't he just go back to Alexis and make nice. This is stupid. The best story was the hostage thing in the metrocourt. they are now just reaching...solve the stupid text message killer already...kill emily for good and just let jason be happy for once....let him have his son and elizabeth too! I am so tired of the stupid storylines!
