Britta Phillips was the singing voice of Jem, and since the opening theme is "performed" by Jem and the Holograms, I'm pretty sure that's her. She has a great voice, it's a shame she never had a mainstream career!

I loved that show, but they do not give credit to the theme song singer as far as I know.
