A lot people on the soap chatboards were wondering about this. I think they havea new writer over at Days and well they can't keep things straight and they think the viewers won't catch things like that, but there sooo wrong!
John's calls Belle "Tink" because it was what he called her as a baby for a nickname. Izzy died from cancer of the pancreas in the early 90's
I remember him calling Belle "Izzy" too. But remember, this is the new and improved "brainwashed-back-from-the-dead-with-too -much-plastic-surgery" John...He probably doesn't know he used to call her Izzy. That first scene when he went to see Belle in her hospital room and her called her Tink and gave her a hug...if you paid attention Belle had kind of a puzzled look on her face when he called her that...
Yeah, he has been calling her Izzy B as her name was inspired from the original.
