Uhmm... You could say that they broke racial barriers making teen comedy that is accessible to people of all races and, by doing that, they helped to further desegregate the film and TV industry (shows no longer targeted at one particular ethnic group as much). Also, their show didn't really have a lot of "racial humor" in it.
I think you could make a paper out of that if you found some sources to back it up.
You could also say they boosted the ecomony by helping to sell gallons and gallons of orange soda or something. haha
they are OK, but there are better noble African AMericans, such as Martin Luther King, Jr, Maya Angelou, Obama..
