I've heard the trio turn down people with better voices, but maybe since she had a lot a passion behind the words, and the song had meaning in itself, she was allowed to go forward.
Not sure if she'll get too far though.

The girl could sing OK. Why Paula cryed was because she knew she could have never done this and was so amazed at this girl for doing this.
