wow. Its hard to even describe what happened in EPISODE ONE, let alone the whole season! Basically its a cliffhanger every episode as you follow the survivors of a plane crash and flashbacks to what happened to put them on the plane...including a doctor, a con artist, a lottery winner, a washed up rockstar and a pregnant girl; then strange things begin to happen - including people being kidnapped by someone and from there it gets pretty surreal: polar bears, strange swarms, a mysterious bunker... the list goes on. I suggest you rent the first season cuz you'll never catch on otherwise - but it IS worth it!
You have lost some time I think - They are plugging series 4 you have missed the first 3 series. They are really worth a watch though I recommend getting them on DVD and watching them!
Dude there is too much going on for someone to summerise it on here- just look for the recap of last season online- that will explain better than some idiot on here trying to tell you everything that happened- they will just leave you confused...somewhat like the show does.

Seriously if you miss an episode you'll find yourself lost, its such a complex storyline that theres a new cliff hanger everytime and something major or key happens in every episode, so its well worth watching the first series. If you don't have access to it try this site:
