Does anyone no of any other good series such as prison break lost or heroes arou!

Question: I'm assuming you want something serialized rather than fully stand alone episodes and that you want a drama (with or without supernatural elements) that has action to it, based on your choice of example shows. So, here are a few shows that might interest you...

Supernatural. It is about two brothers who fight demons and other supernatural phenomena, but it is more than that. It is also about their interactions and characters and is a very interesting show. It currently is airing season 3 on the CW, and the first two seasons are on DVD.

Battlestar Galactica. This show is more Lost-like, with a bunch of refugees who survived the almost total annihilation of Earth. The characters are complex and diverse and the storytelling is exceptional. If you don't mind that it is slightly more sci-fi than Lost, you'll probably really enjoy it. The first 2 seasons are on DVD, with the third season coming out on DVD in March and the fourth airing on the Sci Fi network in April.

Burn Notice. This is more escapist type entertainment like Prison Break. It is about a spy who has been "burned" and thus cannot be a spy anymore. While he tries to figure out who burned him, he helps with crises of those around him. It has a lot of humor for being an action type show. Unfortunately, the first season isn't out on DVD, so you'll either have to wait until the second season airs this summer on USA or catch it in repeats on USA.

The 4400. This is similar to Heroes, as it also deals with people with extraordinary abilities. The premise is slightly different, though. I'm not sure how many of the seasons are on DVD, but the miniseries that started it all is exceptional.

The X-Files. You can't go wrong with the early classic episodes. It's about a pair of FBI agents who investigate the paranormal. All 9 seasons are on DVD (although by season 7, it had started to lose its focus).

La Femme Nikita. This is an action-adventure type show, but it is rather dark. (I don't know if you go for that.) It is about a woman who is falsely accused of murder and then recruited to join a shadowy organization that is just as likely to torture its recruits as it is to torture the enemy. The characters are marvellously complex and the story lines are all interesting. (It's basically a darker Alias.) All five seasons are on DVD.

Speaking of Alias, you might like that as well. It is also about a female spy, but it is lighter in tone. I would only recommend the first two seasons, though, as it got a little silly after that. All 5 seasons are on DVD.

24. If you like the guys of Prison Break working against the clock to perform a mission, you'll most likely enjoy this show as well. (Although it is darker and more serious.) It is about a government agent who has a day to stop different events from happening, and it runs in real time. The best seasons were the first and fifth, if I remember correctly, but all of the first 6 seasons are on DVD and the seventh is filming now, to be shown after the writers' strike ends.

There are a lot of other shows that I enjoy, but those are the most dramatic and serialized, such that would fit with Prison Break, Lost, and Heroes.

I hope that helps!
