Omg, I completely LOVE desperate housewives, but I'm sure you heard there is a Writer's Strike, right now meaning that popular shows, i.e. desperatate housewives, LOST, hereoes, are all put on hold.
They made 10 episodes of Season 4, for Desperate Housewives, and there will be more episodes after the writer's strike is over!
Same with other shows:
Writer's only wrote half of Season 2 of heroes, and only 8 episodes of Season 4 of LOST. And so many other shows being put on hold!

When the writer's strike is over. Don't know if they'd even bother making any more shows until next season at this point...

sorry this is not a proper answer but i would like to know too as i love watching it and it is normally back on by now!!!!
I think it has stopped because of the writers strike over there so I think we will still be waiting a while before it comes back on the box. Cant wait tho its such a cool show,ive not missed one yet
