La Femme Nikita was incredibly sexy and dark. Considering that the main organization wasn't above torturing and/or killing its own, that pretty much covers "dark", and the chemistry between Michael and Nikita was amazing, so that covers "sexy". (The sex scenes didn't hurt; they apparently can get away with a lot on basic cable!)
Battlestar Galactica is definitely dark. I think the theme of mass annihilation of humanity is about as dark as you can get. It has its sexy moments (especially with "Six"), and it does have some attractive cast members, but overall it's more dark than sexy.
Lost. While it does have its lighter moments, I would have to say that overall the theme is very dark. As far as sexy goes, there are very many attractive characters, and you don't really need to say much more than "cage sex" *grin*
Those are the three best that I can think of off of the top of my head. La Femme Nikita's five seasons are on DVD. Battlestar Galactica's first 2 seasons are on DVD, with the third due out on DVD in March and the fourth due to air in April. Lost's first three seasons are on DVD, and the fourth season just started last Thursday.
