Ashes to Ashes new TV series along the lines of Life on Mars?!

Question: only set in 1981 and no John Simm, will it be any good?

Answers: only set in 1981 and no John Simm, will it be any good?

I saw the advert for it earlier. I'll watch it though, and see if it's as good as Life On Mars was.

Watch it next week and see

We will have to wait and see.

just another crappy spin off probably, will be intresting to see how times have changed though, well I wouldnt know what it was like then because im only 13!

I don't see why not. I'm looking forward to it.

Never heard of it I wasn't born till 1994 so yeah. If it's black and white I wouldn't watch it for me anyway you might like black and white movies.

I think it will be, it's got all the original ones except John Simms, so there's no reason why it shouldn't be as good, as long as Gene Hunt is in it then it can't fail, but only time will tell.

It's on on Thursday at 9pm BBC1.

Coming this Thursday to BBC1 at 9.00pm. And if Life on Mars was a smash hit then Ashes to Ashes will do the same. It's a shame that John Simm is not reprising his role as D.I. Sam Tyler, it would of been good to see Sam Tyler 8 years on from 1973.
I think he has moved on from Life on Mars and he may guest star in Ashes to Ashes but that is wish-full thinking. But he may reprise his role as The Master in the 4th series of Doctor Who, but that is a rumour.

No! I never seen life on Mars, but the BBC get 1 theme of they flog it to death. Whats with the David Bowie songs as titles?

It's the sequel to LOM & it's set in 1981.Kelley Hawes is in the series instead of Sam,but Gene Hunt is still there. Can't wait !
