Lost and Tallahassee?!
Question: What's the connection between the show LOST and Tallahassee? It was mentioned in one episode when Kate was trying to catch a bus to Tallahassee, and the cop referred to it as a bunch of strip malls or something like that... Sawyer said that he went to Tallahassee and "something was burning but it wasn't the sun" and one episode is actually titled "A Man from Tallahassee....
I go to FSU in Tallahassee, Fl and I was just wondering if I missed something? It definately isn't a place that is mentioned often, and I highly doubt that it was coincidently mentioned atleast 3 seperate times on the show

*Spoiler* if you haven't seen all of season 3 yet, anyhways:
I know that in the episode "The Man from Tallahassee" that's the one where Sawyer kills Locke's Dad, and if Kate was going there and Sawyer had been there, then there's probably some kind of connection. But with the death of Locke's dad, I think the relevence is diminished.
It is a very lyrical name for a town...
Tallahassee seems to have LOST a football team - just about the same time that the series LOST came on the air. I think that's the only connection.
I think Sawyers baby and the mother lives in Tallahassee. Once he got that money from the deal he made in prison, he had it sent to his ex and the baby. I could be wrong.
I am sorry I don't watch those stupid cable shows. I have hbo and showtime and directtv so I watch good shows. Sorry but if you are from Tallahassee then the guy was right. Something in Tallahassee is burning and it's not the sun but it might be....... you.
