What TV show should I watch?!
Question: I have never watched shows like 24, Lost or Prisonbreak because the plot is quite involved and if you miss something, you might not understand later. This means you have to watch every episode, which is not always possible as I am quite busy and can't be bothered recording them.
Which of these types of shows should I buy on DVD to watch first? I'm not particularly interested in Desperate Housewives but any of the action/mystery ones sound pretty good!

I highly reccommend Lost, because once you do watch it from the beginning you get so wrapped up in it and it's really good.
Another show I'd reccommend is Heroes; it's pretty easy to get caught up since you can buy the first season and the second season you can view for free online. Plus you're sure to catch up with the current episode since the show's been on hiatus because of the writer's strike. Heroes is one of my favorite shows as well :)
House MD is also a good show, and you don't have to watch it from the beginning to understand. It's like a medical CSI, each episode is a different case (whereas Lost and Heroes, all the episodes are strung together).

House is a great show. Any of the CSI's. Law and Order-SVU and Criminal Intent. I watch all of these and you don't really have to watch weekly to keep up with the plots as it changes each week.
You should watch Bones and House. Mainly because they are mini epidoses within themselves. Each epidoses have an ending unlike 24 and Lost which can drag on for season. Therefore if you miss one week's you would feel confused the next.
watch george lopez on nick at nite. Its every night at like 10:00 or something. its really hilarious and if you miss an episode you will know whats going on. its not like lost. Another good episode is kyle xy. they are on their 2nd season but u should watch the first season on dvd first.
i hear 24 is good but u will have to watchh the entire season to be in the loop

Nip/Tuck is a great show. I didn't like I'd like it...but started watching it from the beginning and now I'm hooked! I highly suggest it :)
Buy or rent the LOST dvds. You won't regret it. It's not like Desperate Housewives, it's smart and intense, and just plain spectacular.
