To Freeview or not?!
Question: Can anyone tell me if the programmes we now get on Freeview are going to be any different to the repeated rubbish and reruns that we now see?

There's very little television being made these days. There's soaps, reality TV shows, Simon Cowell style phone-in talent shows and American cop shows. That just leaves reruns of 1970s shows to fill the gaps in the schedules. It doesn't matter how many extra channels you get, there's nothing more to put on them.
No, they will be just the same rubbish
Freeview as its still better than 5 basic channels even though I agree about repeated rubbish and reruns.
You can get Freeview boxes for great value these days - try places like Tesco for example... so I'd definitely recommend it - at least you'll get more choice, and I find channels like Sky News invaluable to have!
In the next couple of years you are going to have to get digital. Freeview is the cheapest option.
