Hubby and I LOVE Lost! I can't wait to see the next episode, I just wish they wouldn't recap so much sometimes. Although I have benefited from the recap, I don't always catch everything the first time. If the new guys are new "bad" guys, then perhaps it is that only these 6 escaped... and Hurley means the other people need their help off the island, as they wanted off, just believed Charlie when he warned them that the new people were not there to save them, but kill them... just "different" "Others"... So who are the 6 though? Jack, Kate, Hugo (Hurley), ??? Charlie looked awful good for a dead guy. And what about at the end of the last episode, going WAY back now... Where Jack calls Kate to meet him, he has a beard, and says we HAVE to go back! This happens right after trouble at the hospital, didn't he quit?
Remember? And the point someone above made, about doubting Jack would leave. Could it be that they got one load of people out, six sounds right for a helecopter, but then couldn't find the island again??? Any why do we not see as much unexplained happenings? The weird black smoke comes to mind, where did the smoke go? I love the mystery, I just wish I was better at finding the clues!
Yes, Jack and Claire are half siblings, same father, but are they ever going to find that out?????
Edit- I could believe Charlie could have made it...after all, what about the "healing" properties of the island? But if he is alive, then he couldn't/wouldn't just disappear when Hurley counted to 5.
I think some of them get killed, some of them wanted to stay. Hurley said "they need us" to Jack, so I think that 6 escaped from the new bad guys. I think the island has something to do with time travel, more than just what Desmond experienced. I don't know - it's really early on, I am still trying to igure it out.
I think that a helicopter brought some of them back but not all of them because, as it has said, you can't find the island and they can't afford to lose too many helicopters or some of them stole a helicopter. The people who came, as it said on the comertials, are not there for them, so they would want to stay on the island. That is my theory for that. I have no idea how they would do that. Isn't it weird that Jack and Claire are really step-siblings? So far I believe that at least Jack, Kate, Hurley, Claire, and Aaron got back. Who is the sixth? Charlie could count, but I wouldn't think so because he's not alive and he could have just been in Hurleys imagination. :(

I loved it. There are so many loose ends with this show. I am trying to not make predictions and just see where it goes. My question is if Kate is one of the six, even though she is off the island. How could she get a bunch of publicity and not end up in jail? She is a fugitive.

i think the six are jack, kate, hurley, claire, aaron, jin, and sun. i heard something about jin being one of the six; i'm not basing my theory on that, but wouldn't sun want to leave because she's pregnant? people have been saying things about how desmond saw claire and aaron off the island? i'm not sure, but i'm willing to see what happens. is hurley just seeing things, or what? he saw that cabin, then it disappeared!? also, when he saw charlie later... it pretty much solidified his death for me. but, you never know with lost. why'd he even have to die in the first place? why couldn't he just open that stupid door? i'm getting off on a tangent, but that's what's so good about this show. there are soo many questions! i'm also employing the thought that sawyer is one of the six, but that doesn't fit into my original theory, so whatever. when kate says she has to go back to "him" in "through the looking glass", who could she be talking about? obviously not jack.

I don't know...the "lost" is soo strange. I looked at it but I had bored about because is a HUGE mystery there and I said:" Stop! This TV program never ends."
I "Lost" interest after the first few episodes of the first season because it just got WAY too silly and ridiculous for me to tolerate anymore.
