On B&B, why does Taylor keep so much liquor in the house if it's such a temp!

I noticed that too. If it's such a temptation for her and everyone else knows that, then why hasn't someone taken it out of the house? First Brooke catches her with it in her coffee, thinking she's been drinking and then Rick finds the half gone bottle of liquor and yet neither of them nor Nick remove it.
But, it's a soap opera and there always has to be something that causes drama. What's going on with her right now is pretty much the main source of drama and removing all the liquor would reduce that drama as it wouldn't be there for her to be tempted by and such.
That's what drives me crazy all these alcoholics on these shows and no one tries to get rid of the stuff! I will give it up to ADam Chandler on AMC though, the other day when JR moved home he did attempt to get rid of it but JR said he didn't need to change his lifestyle b/c of him. So, he did keep it out, I would have got rid oof it though. Adam had 3 alcoholic kids guess we know why!
I don't think it was here that was keeping it in the house I think it was Nick because Nick was still drinking every once in a while. I believe he has one drink a day after work just like everyone else does that is in a soap and is a man. They don't show them drinking all the time but if you ever notice especially on Y&R they have a drink at least every day. B&B is kinda the same way they just don't show it as often as Y&R I think.
In real life, it would be no doubt be alcohol free, but being a soap, it would be boring , they have to have some crazy way out story line to entertain..
I thought i was the only one that noticed that. Should Nick not take all alcohol out of the house? but what do you except? They don't do anything normal on soaps.
i know, it shouldn't be in the house. but, knowing taylor she would probably just drive and get some more even though she already killed darla due to her drinking problem. she shouldn't even be allowed to be a psychiatrist if she can't even help herself

well ya it's soaps! but before she had everything in her life under controll!!!!!know it just helps her get through the day!!!!!!!!
It should definitely be alcohol free. Nick should be supportive of Taylor by not having any alcohol in the house. At least they could drink non alcoholic beer like they do on GL. My husband had started to drink too much and once I showed him what his BAC was, he stopped cold turkey. I absolutely refuse to have any alcohol in the house because to this day, he thinks he could have just a 'couple'. I don't buy it.
They most likely believed that she was 'cured' of temptation-free from alcohol.
