Does anyone in USA watch British TV programmes?!
Question: My husband and I love some of the American TV programmes we get here in England. Here are some of our favourites.

And the excellent NYPD Blue with the unforgettable Lieutenant Sipowicz . What a shame it finished. Do see any of ours and which do you enjoy?

I also grew up on Monty Python and loved Black Adder. These days I watch Torchwood and Doctor Who. I'm also a big fan of Monarch of the Glen, used to watch Wire in the Blood (lost it on the schedule and then forgot about it), I have Jekyll on DVD but haven't gotten around to watching it, and plan to watch Life on Mars, The IT Crowd and Black Books. This is, of course, in addition to classics like Poldark, Brideshead Revisited, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the BBC version was much better than the US movie, even if it had a tiny budget).
You should check out Heroes if you get a chance.
On public television we get and old show called "Are you being served?" That is a great show!
I also really like Ricky Gervais and Extras.

Umm i think this is an England program: Man Vs. Wild. Anyways i absolutely LOVE that show
i love to watch Are you Being Served, Waiting for God, and Keeping up Apparences. Britsh shows rock!!
Of course, I love the classic Monty Python. But, I also really like Extras and The Office. I actually prefer the UK version (the original!) of The Office.
