Been watching the simpsons for years and years and got bored with it. Family guy is hilarious! Did you see the episode where Brian and Stewie went drinking at a bar and Stewie drove the car through the bar wall? Soo funny!
I say Family Guy because The Simpsons haven't made any new episodes for a long while. You watch the same old episodes over and over again, and it doesn't get any better. Family Guy is better because it has more mature themes and it is very funny. It hasn't been around for as long as the Simpsons, so you can't say that Family Guy's getting old. Some episodes of The Simpsons had nothing to do with the actual family, which made those episodes not worth watching, (e.g., When we find out that Principal Skinner's real identity isn't Skinner, and etc...). Hence, Family Guy is better.
Family Guy - it pushes the boundaries a little more, and is more a kind of cerebral humour than Simpsons.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the Simpsons and occasionally it will make me laugh, but nowhere near as much as Family Guy (and American Dad) make me laugh.
