Do you think that Julie Dublea was Ripped off on American Idol 01/30?!
Question: Julie Dubela was a top-20 finisher on the (thankfully) short-lived American Juniors. I watched. Don't judge. Julie seems confident heading into the judging room, and her version of Me and Bobby McGee isn't terrible. But it lacks energy. And the judges are ready to tear her apart.
Simon calls Julie "precocious." She asks for a definition and gets more confused -- and confusing -- as time goes on, eventually dwindling into an incoherent mess.
Also Simon siad to her that she should go to Hollywood and Be an actress, She won't go on Idol again what a shame, so you think she was Ripped off or was Simon was right, you tell me.

I don't think she got ripped off. She was way over the top in her affectations. A natural, just plain singing might have shown that she had a really good voice. She was better as a 12 year old. There is such a thing as too confident. She reminded me of the blond girl (the leader) on Mean Girls in thinking just how wonderful she is.
AND Roseanne Barr sang the National Anthem once at a baseball game. it doesn't mean a thing really!
Simon was being kind when he said that she was over indulged. Spoiled Brat is what I would have called her!!! Did you see how she brushed off her Mother when she came out? There was only one Janis and she didn`t even come close!!!!!
she just was'nt good she may have been good at 12 but not at 16
She was robbed!! Big time. Worst decision in idol history. There are several singers better than her. She is not in the "A" league. However, she certainly is in the "B" league, and good enough to make it to Hollywood. Horrible Decision. Simon, Paula and Randy should be ashamed of themselves.
I wasn't impressed.
