Why doesn't Hannah Montana want her identity to be revealed?!
Question: I don't watch the show, or at least I didn't before my cousin and her daughter started staying with me temporarily. Ever since then, I haven't had much choice, it's viewed at least twice a day in my home. Now I know I'm not part of the demographic they're looking for, but it's become one of those things that I act hesitant to let her turn it on, but it's kind of a guilty pleasure. But since I'm such a "Johnny Come Lately" to the show, I've missed this key element of the plot. Why the duel identity?

B/c she is a young kid and when your put into the spotlight you lose that privacy you once had. She loves that she is a performer but she is still a kid. She wants to be able to live her life as a regular child w/out any drama from the media or fans. Smart choice.
This is so that she can be a normal kid and go to school without being treated specially
so there is a plot but she does not want all the poperacy bambarding her all the time
because she wants 2 have a normal life and does not want give autographs every day at school
So she can become the pornstar she wants to be without getting grief about it.
I must admit that I watch Hannah Montana, That's So Raven & The Suite Life of Zach & Cody. It's the only thing on Saturday mornings here. They're my childish pleasure to take me back to when I loved watching Saturday morning shows. (since Bugs Bunny isn't to be found on my channels)
One funny thing is, how can her fellow classmates be so stupid to not know she's Hannah Montana? Hello? It's just a hair color difference? :D Her brother & her 2 best friends crack me up sometimes.
so she could be a normal high school girl and not be treated like the celebrity she is.
becasue she wants to be ablr to live a normal life without all the papparatzi and the friends who just want to be her friend because she is hannah montana
She doesn't want the world to know that Miley Stewart=Hannah Montana because she wants to have a normal life. She has also seen what her life would be if Miley wasn't real. She didn't like it.
