Question: So, I thought she was a naughty girl who did naughty things with an equine and that's how she got the illness. Then out she comes as Mary in a living Nativity! What gives? Why wouldn't she be able to tell her mother about that?

The character was a nun.
She works with drug addicts and may come into contact with an addict's dirty needles, so she gets AIDS tests. House guessed "whore" because he cannot conceive of selfless love and the service that a nun agrees to do for mankind.
She had a sense of humor and played along.
At the end, she says "come see, I think its something you might enjoy" and she offered him a ticket... to the services at the church where she was in the nativity play.
It got me too. but its illustrative of House's blind spot in the area of human kindness.
yea, House thought she was first a whore and she went along with it. Then the next time she came in house and I thought she was a whore with a donkey, Seemed like she just agreed went along with it and gave him her show as in '' im not come watch '' so he went.
