Question: Why does John Abbott only appear to Jack? Why can't he appear to Gloria, and then learn the truth how Gloria is a true gold digger, and nothing more than trailer park thrash?? ...AND...Learn that Gloria was the person responsible for the poison J'bot skin care cream, which led to Jack losing the family company???

John appearing to Jack is Jack's guilty conscience talking ot him as his dad would. Stuff that Jack did and does that he knows may not be on the up and up but he feels he needs to do them. but in the back of his mind he knows his dad would not approve. In order for John to appear to Gloria, she would have to have a conscience wouldn't she? She doesn't seem to have one. At least not one that talks to her as loudly as Jacks does!
John appears only to Jack to help guide him through difficult times, as a father would to his child if he were still alive. As for Gloria, I worked while that story was on, but from what I've seen, John truly loved her, so I don't see the need for John to learn about her being a gold digger because he wouldn't see it. When Gloria was at the courhouse with the letter from John, I felt she truly loved him, even if her original intentions were to be with John for his money.
the whole ghost thing is stupid. it is so out off character for john to tell jack to let gloria have the house. john would want the house to stay in his bloodline. he would want his grandchildren and great grandchildren to grow up there. i like gloria and what jack did to her with the will was wrong. she won her case and got what she wanted...she is going too far.
He is not actually a ghost but rather Jack's conscience. Just as Alan appearing to Tracey on GH is not a ghost but her conscience as well. They are there because Jack and Tracey harbor guilt. Gloria has no shame, or guilt, and thus no conscience.
he's supposed to be jack's conscience. jack is not as unscrupulous as he is made out to be, but gloria is. she's no relation to john. a yea ror so versus all of jack's life of john being an influence?
because he is Jack's conscience, not Gloria's-she obviously doesn't have one. I can't believe that John would encourage Jack to let Gloria have the house though, she lived there for a minute vs Jack's whole life
This story line is stupid and the writers are ruining John's good name. I think he should be able to see what's going on with everyone, not just Jack. He apparrently can hear Sharon, too, but not Glo. I wish he could just RIP.
