Is TVLand going down the drain and headed for the sewer?!
Question: I remember a TVLand that devoted its programming to old 50s and 60s sitcoms and dramas, mostly Westerns. I loved it!
Now they show unfunny imbecilic "comedy" movies and moronic reality shows. Not to mention junky 80s and 90s sitcoms and the trash called "Just Shoot Me".
And when they do air the old shows, they are so chopped up to get in a zillion commercials and repulsively repetitive promotions for upcoming shows.
So am I the only one that thinks TVLand is going in the wrong direction?

I was just thinking the same thing. TVLand used to be so good!
I change TVLand for DejaVu, I preferred their old shows. TVLand seemed to get the worst of the worst, those shows that didn't make it then. I see that they have a very little bit of old shows that I might enjoy but not enough to pay for!
It's the same for LoneStar, where you could see Dead Or Alive, Bonanza etc,now they are showing movies, not even westerns,such as Aliens, Die Hard??? Don't get me wrong I love those movies, but I was paying to get good old western shows or movies!?? When I order a hot dog, don't give me a hamburger !!!;-))

HELL NO you aren't the only one! They suck. Who wants to see just shoot me anyway!? The question is, what can we do about it. They did the same thing on Nick at Nite, which is now the fresh prince of bel air channel. YUK.
anyway, many of us from their message boards have spoken up about it, but it seems to be falling on deaf ears. sad.

McGuyver
Highway to Heaven
Happy Days
Now they are recently showing "The Beverly Hillbillies"
Now they are putting the shitty show on "Just Shoot me".
So no you are not the only one that thinks That TVLand is going the wrong direction.
