Why is Seth Mcfarlane In the Writer's Strike Group?!

Question: The reason they are on strike is because when movies come out on DVD the people who wrote the scripts for the movie don't get the royalties. Even though the actors and producers do. So anyways, Why would the head of Family Guy, who helps the show, acts in the show, and produces it, join the Screenwriters Strike?

In order for him to write for the show he has to be a member of the WGA. Same thing goes for all the director/Creator types... JJ Abrams, Quinten Tarrentino, Kevin Smith... All members of the WGA and can't make script changes or write a word of dialog while the guild is on strike.

cause he's a writer.

you left out the part where he writes in the show too you idiot.

he either helps write stuff and is in it, or used to and knows their pain so he supports them, or maybe he just supports their cause.

Cause he's also the writer, and he probably sees himself as a writer first. I wish the strike would hurry up and end dang it.

cuz his real name is seth mcqueermo

He belongs to the WGA and supports the issues the WGA is striking over. Showrunners are also the head writers in most cases.

Because he is part of the WGA and he wants to help the people that is on strike even though he probably doesn't need the money. It's a support thing.
