The tornado episode was not a throw in thing because of the writers strike. I read an article on yahoo a while ago with mark cherry the creator. He said he had the tornado episode already taped, but he had wanted to pair it with a few other new shows. He decided however, to go ahead and air it. There are no new shows until after the writers go back to work.
I wish they would hurry up and settle this strike...I am in withdrawls from Desperate Housewives, and Heroes !!!
When the strike is over... Im pretty sure that tornado thing wouldnt have happened if the strike wasnt on, that was a forced storyline

They are on hiatus, no doubt due to the writer's strike. I wish they would get that settled :(

There wasn't a hurricane it was a tornado. The next episode no one know's when it will be on it all depends on how long the writers strike goes on. Marc Cherry (The Creator) has been saying the the last episode which was the episode after tornado he may use as the season 4 finale.
