I would and they could do it with ease. Every half hour edition of an ITV soap usually starts 5 minutes beyond the advertised time. There ar 5 minutes of adverts leaving the programme length at just about 20 minutes. Add in all the padding and the stretching out of the story lines to a point where we are all bored by them and each episode could be just 10 or 15 minutes long. This would enable even, with adverts, 3 episodes to be dealt with in half an hour. This would leave more time for some real quality programmes.
No way, no way. There are enough other channels these days for people to watch if they want to turn over.

The only soaps I care about are the main 3, Coronation St, Eastenders and Emmerdale, the others can be taken off for good, but please don't cut down on my favs
no soaps are good i like things the way they are already ,, there's plenty other channels to watch if you don't like soaps,
infact double episodes would be better
like : eastenders then Corri then eastenders then Corri again and if it was on at weekends that would be good as well ,,
no way thanks. it's bad enough there's no emmerdale on a sunday night anymore, without cutting it down to 2 episodes a week. ITV was meant to show more dramas but it's full of reality shows, that's not drama. I like BBC dramas but they need more.

No as i like the soaps I can just about get my head round no more at weekend but two in week nooooooooooo i know I am sad but weekends is soap free now.
id like more of them. every night if possible please, especially emmerdale, corrie and easties....i went off echo beach cos it waas only on once a week for half an hour.
i would like to see them off terrestrial tv altogether & put on pay per view.once a month.
No I miss the Sunday episodes already, Come on they have a job to find anything good to put on other times ,What would they put in that Slot ,another tired old game show
No I dont, I enjoy watching the soaps. I only watch Coronation st and Eastenders though. I will watch Hollyoaks if nothing else is on and sometimes Neighbours and Emmerdale. Im not a complete soap freak.
