Question: I believe there will be eight if the strike isn't resolved. I know there is supposed to be 48 episodes remaing total (3 16 episode seasons) and that the current season is half finished.

They only have the first 8 episodes of the new season ready, so depending on how long the strike goes on for the remainder of season 4 may not be aired until late 2008.
