Yeh I heard they were doing this episode. She remembers her past and life with Jim. She waiting for him to come home but knows deep down he won't be coming home as he gets taken to a nursing home.
So sad.

Yes - that'sa one-off that will be worth watching,Country (even if I don't follow the storylines regularly myself).
I am looking forward to it as she is a wonderful actress and I remember her scene with Ethel very moving.
Not many can pull off an entire episode all to themselves and I heard she was really worried about it as well.

Yeah have been reading about that in my tele book country. Just goes to show how much the producers must rate her to devote an entire episode to just her.

Good old Dot Cotton(the excellent June Brown) is a mainstay of Eastenders and I for one will be watching her solo perfomance.

I hate it when they do that - it really drags. I don't care how good an actor/actress they are, it's just BORING!
I saw that advertised Country - she is the only one in the whole episode so will definitely be a tearjerker!!
I hate to disagree ,But I have seen these one offs before ,One with her and Ethel I think,And I find them very boring ,Yes shes a good actress ,But what have they ever done with her on Eastenders ,She wears the same old Clothes Quotes the bible ,on every occasion ,and you rarely see her smile , I find the charactor very miserable and Boring ,and you would think June Brown would be fed up with playing her

I reckon Jim Branning is going to die, as the actor only look his first few steps in the last few weeks since his stroke over 6months ago. Will he be able to return to work,... :O(
