Why does Public TV always have such crap on the air in prime time?!
Question: I mean right now they have some crap from Britian with people with bad teeth. I mean we pay taxes for this crap? What's the deal? I do have to say that I like This old house, but that's one show. I want my money back!

The only time they have good stuff on is when they have their fund raising drives to con us to send them money to air the crap shows.
Taxes do NOT pay for public television. DONATIONS do. There are corporate contributions, but taxpayers don't pay for it.
Most public television contributors are older people and that's what the stations play to.
pbs is good station
it's public tv. it's educational and international stuff mainly from britain and a/b britain. be happy there are no donation telethons running.
