Does anyone else think that celebrity rehab should not be on tv.?!
Question: with what is going on with Jeff Conway it is like watching someone die on tv. I think we have finally gone to far. The rest of the people on there are just b rated star whores but Jeff Conway is in serious trouble and should not be shown for entertainment. Any one else agree?

I was thinking this as I was watching it last night. It is HORRIBLE! I was so sad that he was there and in that condition! I do not feel that that should be shown on television, I am hoping that since people are watching it will be incentive for him to get clean and hopefully prevent some people from taking those drugs. That is the only type of positive I can think of that will come out of this. It makes me want to cry! :(

Television promotes many programs of questionable morality. It's up to the consumer, however, to decide what makes it on to the airwaves by making the conscious decision to avoid watching certain programs.
I totally agree. All this attention and invasion of privacy is what led them to drugs and rehab in the first place. People just need to give them some space and leave them alone.
Though I do agree with Kenny M, Survivorman is actually quite entertaining......when have nothing to do with your friends, it can be very funny!
The thing is they agree to be on the show. He signed up for this. He pulled the same crap on Celebrity Fit Club. Reality tv or not the man has a problem that he needs to deal with or die. It is too bad that he has to do it on a tv show. Must need the money.
Actually, I'm amazed Jeff Conway is still alive...and he's going thru lots of sh*t, but I also think it is good for young adults to see him...some people think drugs are very glamorous...guess what? they are not...
I love the show, and it's Conaway.
I don't know , if it keeps one person from becoming addicted to the same types of medications then it maybe a cautionary tail worth the air time.
There are plenty of other shows on the air that have NO purpose what so ever. This may encourage someone to get help to get them off drugs or alcohol.
It doesn't glorify the Hollywood scene and all the trappings that can go along with it.
I think it should be on. They are in a real rehab being treated by real doctors and addicion specialists. They signed up for it after all. And if helps someone to not start doing drugs or to get clean from it, then I dont see the problem. This show actually has a purpose, unlike other shows.
I've seen clips of this on Entertainment Tonight and that's enough for me. I want to be entertained and watching people's suffering doesn't seem entertaining to me.
