I'd have them design flower girl dresses. I think it would be great to see this particular group of designers work with little girls. They've never done a child fashion challenge. Although I can't stand Ricky, I think he would probably win it because he comes from a large close family and is probably around children more than the others.
I'd like to see a challenge where Michael, Nina and Heidi have to form a team and create a look in ten hours! Just because it would be hilarious.
Here's my original challenge, though: The designers have to come up with a look (complete outfit) that clearly conveys a story or very specific point of view. For example, a "mobster" look or a "Joan Crawford" look or a "belle epoque" look. It can't be too costumey, BUT it has to get the designer's story across very clearly because they are not allowed to tell anyone their idea!
This will be a test of the designer's ability to really express an idea CLEARLY in their garments. If the the judges can figure out what your clothes are supposed to represent (a specific era or place or celebrity, etc), then you are in the top. If not, you are in the bottom and the worst design loses.
Edited to add - I forgot to say which designer I think would win my challenge. I think Christian would win, because although Chris would probably get his idea across the most clearly, the judges would deem his work too costumey and prefer Christian's subtler look.
