well, star trek was cancelled(the original series), but due to demand, it was brought back in movies and spin-offs. :)
Depending on the reason that show was cancelled, it might be brought back.
Firefly was cancelled(I've never understood why. Joss Whedon is a genius) but came back as the movie Serenity.

I'm a bit of a Browncoat, so I think you can always believe in the power of fans.
Browncoat refers to Firefly, which was cancelled before they even showed all the filmed episodes. It returned a view years later not as a tv show, but rather as a movie (Serenity) due to the persistence and dedication of the fans.
Jericho was canceled after the first season. Fans were in an uproar, and bombarded the studio with nuts. (You'd have to watch the show to understand the reference.) It's coming back soon, for Season 2. I thought I read that Jericho was the only TV show that was ever brought back after cancellation, but I could be wrong.

I saw an interview on ET with the women from the old show "Cagney and Lacey", and they said that their show was brought back by popular demand, but I don't remember that. And now there's Jericho. I wonder what CBS did with all those peanuts.
