I know. I mean she wasn't the best I've heard on there and was slightly conceited, but she wasn't bad. The new Dad was pretty good compared to some of the others they let through. I have wondered myself about it being rigged. Simon also tends to favor the pretty blondes.
I know! She had a great voice but they totally hated her. I think they were being too harsh. Not only on her but on the pilot girl and the guy who's wife just gave birth.
I honestly agreed with Randy, Paul, and Simon that Aretha didn't have that great of a voice, but they were being too harsh last night.

I don't know what you heard, but she was awful. I agree that they didn't let some decent singers through like the air force girl but that Aretha was horrible. She was all over the place. She kept changing keys and notes and she screamed the whole thing. Bleh!
those of us watching last night thought she was pretty good and thought it was a shock that they said no.she was better than some of the ones they let through!
