Does anyone think the judges were a little tough on the contestants on last nigh!
Question: They should have let that last guy in with the newborn baby...he wasn't that bad really. So, he just had to learn how to adjust his voice a little...some ppl they let in so far were painful to listen to.

No because there are millions of people that try out for this competition. With there being so many people the judges have to be very strict, because they can not accept everyone.
Yes. i really wanted the girl pilot and the new Daddy to go through and I though they were both good enough. Over all, though, I think the judges, especially Simon are way more mellow this year. In fact, I think Randy is tougher than Simon this year.

No not at all and I hope this is their last season. Some people just can't sing and they stand there and argue with the judges. Just go away humbled that they told you the truth. Some people just can't handle the truth and it is sad.
Tough? I am not seeing Simon being the usual A** that he was. I kinda liked the spit fire he was...this show is not the same. He has let people through just because and how about I can't break up the brother and sister team...even though he thought the sister could not sing. The other Simon would not have cared! I mean it is nice to see the other side of Simon, but the show was a lot about his sarcastic remarks and America loved it, or hated it, that is what made the show go this far.

simon is the best judge on it as he is always right, funny and honest
I think that pilot girl was good. but anyway, its nice to see it got tougher as well... we don't need a repeat of last season with contestant like Sanjaya or amanda
they have to be careful to ensure the top 24 really can sing and they do not give an opportunity for those "prank" voters to vote the wrost contestant just for fun

Yeah, I thought they were a little harsh. I wanted that pilot girl to win. I can't believe that out of 10,000 people they only picked 23 people to go to the next level.

I think they let the wrong ones in....the new dad and the pilot gal weren't that bad,........ the one with the tatoo was good but a little over the top... but there were a few I felt they let in because of the way they looked and their personality.
I think it was Kind, of the judges not to let the new father in, or the pilot because eventually they'd have been cut and they should be paying close attention to what going on right in front of them. I would call it a kind of favor to everyone!
