yea almost 70% is the accuracy...because someone can be trained f to pass the detector...and because some people will get REALLY nervous as soon as u start asking them questions so it will be vague in that case

The problem is human being make the final decision by interpreting the results,we are not foolproof therefore they are not correct.

Depends on the person's anxiety level, nervousness and bloodpressure....which can affect the results of the test.

No, I believe they are not. Those machines are man made and just as humans are subject to errors so are machines. Computers, machines are all programmed by human beings. They only do what we ask of them ot built them to do.There are still alot of things as humans we have not yet discovered, to say this thing is 100% accurate at all times would be saying all U.S troops would return home tomorrow.We can never be sure.
They are not a 100% accurate it's been proved if they were 100% accurate they would be using them in law courts.
No. If u look at the facts about the machine u will find each time it says they are not completely reliable. I know this for each talk show host who uses one states this fact. Including Dr. Phil.
they are 90 per cent accurate I think so there is a tiny percentage of society to which the lie detector would NOT be accurate, but the chances are very small, and the sort of guests on these talk shows are liely to be lying anyway!
