The black comedians currently on british TV are simply not funny. is this revers!

So why have they got their own shows on the main channels?

Agreed, they are not funny...race has nothing to do with their inability to make me laugh.
i agree with you, which is a shame, it would be nice to see some modern black comedy on TV
there are no comedians on UK television they must all be on the cruise ships
I have to say it grieves me to say that you are right. Though we all have to given these comedians some slack here. However, if a white comedian were to crack jokes about a black person it would be pistol at dawn and up before the race discrimination board.
Trevor MacDonald made a racist remark on TV about a famous white comedian (not sure which one) and not a word was said.
Things have come full circle and it's the white mans turn to take the flack now I'm afraid.
In the scheme of things is it important.
It puzzles me why people like this get their own shows - they are not funny and they do not entertain. I find them both extremely irritating!
I like Lenny Henry but I do wish he would speak a little slower then he would be easier to appreciate.

After watching the awful "Desmonds" this will prove to you that black people can be really funny.
the BBC don't want to look racist but agree with you they are not funny. there some brilliant black comedians out there but they insist on putting crap ones on instead
