How many contestants do the American Idol judges actually see in a day during th!
Question: Obviously they don't see all of them and they are weeded out, and certainly they are sent a number of kooks, but, counting the kooks, how many contestants do they see in a day? And what percentage are actually potential contestants and what percentage are just sent in to be comic relief?

they have 2-3 auditions prior to the final "your going to hollywood" audition... Simon , Paula, and Randy actually only see about 200 contestants or less in each city, the rest are cut by the dozens of producers/judges, many of wich can sing like birds, but are lacking the "image" they are looking for... most are chosen for laughs to go on to the the final cut/"first" audition obviously
like 200 i think they stay as long as posible but that's not very long. they probly see like 8% that are actually good on some days and others like 20% of good ones that really depends on the city they're in. and i think u can figure the difference for the funny not so good people!
