Question: How did people get duped into watching other people's lives who do nothing but drink and party such as paris hilton, lauren conrad, kardashian, and all the rest of the spoiled rich socialites?
You are showing your kids or your future kids that being a drunk socialite with no aspiring "real world" values and careers is actually a good thing! Have ANY of these people done ANYTHING to benefit society? Fund-raisers? Charity Events? Awareness Raising? But these are the people you let young children aspire to be!
Being a Socialite should not be a job! Its what you do when you have too much money and no REAL goals for life.

Look up Socialite on Wikipedia. Some of them have very successful franchises and businesses all over the world, which have made them very wealthy. Of course, I'm thinking of socialites in their late 30's and all through their 40's, etc.
I like to think of a socialite as a person who frequents fancy parties, sipping champagne and exchanging conversation with a lot of high-class people, something Paris Hilton definitely is not. Don't know about Lauren Conrad or Kim Kardashian, though.
I'm not saying being a socialite is a job - since when do you get paid for it? But it is part of a rich person's lifestyle. Don't talk about it like it's a bad thing.
