it canceled because Mrs. McGuire was complaining that she wasnt getting paid enough. and rumours have it that either :
1) Hilary was getting to old
2) Hilary had other things to do
3) Hilary wanted a better pay
and yeah, Hannah montana sort of replaced it (although LIzzie is 100 times better)
So yeah.
it stopped every since June/July 2004 =]
about the lizzie getting old to play a middle-aged kid :
they were going to make lizzie go to highschool but like i said, the reasons above ^^. that stopped the show.
No Hannah Montana replaced her, Disney Boots you when you reach 18

Lizzie McGuire has been cancelled for a few years now. You can't have a kids show when the kids are now in their early 20's. It just doesn't work.

No it really sucks i loved that show!! but hannah montana killed her some times during the day you can see that show on disney
its on saturday morning on abc.
they canceled it because lizzie was just getting too old.
and she had other things going on.
like her album and perfume, etc.
It's definately still on, just no new episodes. I'm sure you can catch a rerun on late night disney or if you have IO I'm sure it can be found on one of those channels.

I never really liked her, I wasn't too pleased with her replacement either. I mean I like Hannah Montana but she is WAY to big of a deal now! I mean, She is like any other actor/actress but people seem to like her more. Blown out of proportion if u ask me!

I think it was ended because Hilary Duff wanted to pursue other things. It is still on in reruns.
