Why on Y&R they never show the oustside they are always indoor?!

They show them playing ball on the basketball court,I't is a soap you can't expect but for so much.
Mainly because they shot the scenes in a studio.....probably more cost effectivet that way....
Also it is difficult and expensive to have location shoots. Y & R is filmed in LA and it would be very difficult to make local location shoots look like Wisconsin.
They live in Wisconsin and its friggin' cold. Of course they stay inside. They are always wearing those tank tops and sleeveless numbers they would freeze to death outside!
