SNL, Anyone ever notice?!
Question: I'm a big fan of Saturday Night Live but I just realized that they've never had a Black actress. I know they have the Black actors, who they then dress up as women. But why do they go through the trouble of hair, make up an humiliation of making the men become women. Just get a woman!
*side note...considering they're all comedians I'm sure they're not too humiliated but it's not cute to see a big, deep-voiced male play a woman.
So my question is (aside from Maya Rudolph) has there ever been a Black SNL actress?

I remember that Ellen Cleghorne was a member of the cast in the early 1990's. She played a few notable characters from popular culture like Whoopi Goldberg and Jocelyn Elders, and also had original parts such as Zoraida the sassy NBC page. Before Ellen, there was an actress named Danitra Vance that was on for only one season in the mid-80's.

Ellen Cleghorne from the early 90's. You also notice that they rarely have black female hosts, besides Halle Berry. In fact, they rarely have any black hosts.
not that I can remember,there are not too many good black actresses,and comediennes.More so now, I love Wanda Sykes,she's a scream.
